What we collect, and how to make it stop.
The short version: we collect what is needed to work out whether you have a coverage gap, we share it with insurance carriers only when you ask us to get a quote, we do not sell it, and one message from you ends all contact.
What we collect
When you call, email, or submit a form: your name, contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us about your situation.
When you go through a needs analysis: income, expenses, debt, dependants, and details of insurance you already hold. We collect this because it is impossible to work out a coverage gap without it.
When you browse the site: standard server and analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and referring source. We do not attempt to identify you from browsing alone.
What we do not collect on this site
We do not ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth, a bank account, or a card number anywhere on this website. If a page ever appears to ask you for those, it is not ours.
Why we use it
To answer you, to prepare a needs analysis, and — only where you ask for one — to obtain quotes from insurance carriers.
To send you the occasional email if you asked for that. Every one of them has a working unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Insurance carriers, when you have asked us to get a quote or submit an application. They need it to underwrite.
Service providers who help run the practice — email, scheduling, and customer records — under contract and only for that purpose.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to lead buyers or data brokers.
Calls and texts
If you give consent to be contacted by phone or text, that consent is specific to this practice, it is not a condition of buying anything, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Reply STOP to any text and the texts stop. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us on a call or by email and all contact stops, on every channel.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that go nowhere: no more than two years.
Records connected to a policy: for as long as required by insurance recordkeeping rules, which is generally longer.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and ask us to stop contacting you. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
